Good Morning Camp Families,

This morning we are sad to report that there was a fatal car accident on Columbus Avenue right outside of our camp site. We had to alter our traffic pattern this morning, and will likely have to alter our half day and full day dismissals as well to utilize Westlake drive, the road that runs above our camp. See map below. If you are coming from Valhalla we suggest you get on the Taconic Parkway and exit at Lakeview Ave. This will place you on the correct side of the street for dismissal. All families coming from Thornwood, Hawthorne, and northern Valhalla can come down Columbus Avenue as usual. You will be directed where to turn by the town staff. 

Your patience is appreciated as we look to safely dismiss all campers. 

Speaking of keeping our little ones safe, any camper who asked about the incident was told that there was a power outage and the crews were working to fix it. We are having a normal day at camp, our Magician is performing now and campers will be able to engage in their full range of activities. We will post a full updates of all the different activities your campers took part in this week later on today.
